In detail
“One card at a time” mode gives you time to read. Rapid mode gives you speed. The camera analyses 15 frames per second, needs only two steady frames, and shows each price for less than half a second: the card is already filed while you reach for the next.
Speed never comes at the expense of honesty. When the app hesitates between candidates, rapid mode does not stop to ask: it announces “not recognised” and carries on. A card whose price is late is filed without a price — never with a guess — and the price fills in when it arrives.
